Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide fabric with antistatic properties, heat shielding properties, etc., and impart appearance and hand excellent in aesthetic sense by partially printing dyed fabric having a sputtering layer of a metal or a metallic compound or undyed fabric with an opal size containing an opal agent of a sputtering layer and carrying out the opal, discharge or colored discharge of the part.
CONSTITUTION: A sputtering layer, composed of a metal or its compound such as stainless steel or amorphous copper and having 100-3000&angst thickness is formed in dyed or undyed fabric by a sputtering method. The resultant sputtering layer is then partially printed with an opal size containing an opal agent such as sodium acid sulfate capable of opal finishing and then subjected to steaming, washing and drying treatment at 130°C for about 20min to carry out the opal finishing, discharging or colored discharge of the sputtering layer in the printed part.
