PURPOSE: To obtain a titled laminate wherein plural pieces of optical fibers are arranged and laminated with high accuracy by laminating the sheet-like rectangular bodies of a specified length and specified width produced by arranging the optical fibers in parallel at a specified pitch and fixing the same by adhering in plural stages.
CONSTITUTION: Optical fiber sheets 5 produced by arranging plural pieces of optical fibers 7 in parallel at a specified pitch are inserted into the fixed-length channels of lngth (n), width (e) and depth (m) formed on the top surface of a channeled plate 1, and an adhesive resin 8 is cast therein. A press plate 3 is placed thereon and is pressed onto the plate 1 along the guides 4 to adhere and fix the sheets 5 with the resin, whereby the rectangular bodies of the length (n), and the width (e) are formed in the end parts of the sheets 5. Such bodies 5 are laminated in plural stages in a laminating frame 9 and the top part is fixed with a top cover 11 for fixing which moves along guides 10, whereby the bodies are adhered.
