Title:
PRODUCTION OF OPTICALLY READABLE MEDIUM INCLUDING EMBOSSED INFORMATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP03116460
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to optically read information including relief information tracks by pressurizing a stamper to emboss the exposed surface of a photosetting film and passing chemical rays through this film to cure the photosetting film, then separating the same.

CONSTITUTION: A roll laminator 118, a pressurizing means 121, an irradiation source 123, a depositing means 125, a laminator 127, a cutter 129 and an applicator 131 are disposed. A dry photosetting film 12 is laminated on a substrate 10 which is stable in size and optically transparent to arbitrarily form a reflection layer 24 on the exposed surface 14. Further, the stamper 20 is applied under pressurization, by which the exposed surface 14 of the photosetting film 12 is embossed by relief information tracks 22. The chemical rays are passed through the transparent substrate 20 and the photosetting film 14 to cure the photosetting film 14. The stamper 20 is separated from the photosetting film 14. As a result, the optical reading of the information including the relief information tracks is made possible.
