Title:
PRODUCTION OF ORGANIC CONDUCTOR, THIN ORGANIC CONDUCTOR FILM OBTAINED THEREBY AND NONCONDUCTIVE MATERIAL COATED THEREWITH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3368406
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a thin organic conductor film even on a non-conductive material by producing an organic conductor by performing an electrolytic polymerization process in which at least a pin-like electrode is used as the anode under specified conditions.
CONSTITUTION: In a process for producing an organic conductor by an electrolytic polymerization process in which at least a pin-like electrode is used as the anode (e.g. a process for producing a polypyrrole from pyrrole comprising using p-toluene-sulfonic acid as the electrolyte and using acetonitrile and water as the solvent), the production is performed under the influence of a magnetic field H desirably of an intensity of 0.2-0.5T to form a thin organic conductor film on desirably a nonconductive material 3 (e.g. glass). It is desirable that the thickness t of the electrolytic cell (the thickness of the clearance in which the electrolyte is held) is 0.5mm or below.
