Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a bone morphogenetic protein(BMP) capable of inducing the osteogensis according to a protein expression system utilizing silkworm in a large amount of expression.
CONSTITUTION: A gene capable of coding an BMP is integrated into a baculovirus transfer vector and the resultant vector is then integrated into a virus (e.g. a polyhedral virus). The resultant virus is further inoculated into silkworm, which is then raised to isolate and purify the objective BMP from the humor thereof.
