Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a simple process for producing type-I oxytitanium phthalocyanine crystal.

CONSTITUTION: An oxytitanium phthalocyanine crystal having Bragg angles 2θ±0.2° of 9.0°, 14.2°, 23.9° and 27.1° by CuKα characteristic X-ray diffraction is produced by dispersing oxytitanium phthalocyanine in a dispersion system consisting of a mixture of an aqueous paste of oxytitanium phthalocyanine and an ether compound.
