To prevent the occurrence of fine powder even if external force, such as vibration, impact, or bend, is exerted during transportation, by packing prepregs into a packing member capable of keeping the pressure of the inside reduced, and by hermetically sealing while reducing the pressure of the inside so that the prepregs are in close contact with each other and the prepregs and the packing material are in close contact with each other.
As a packing material capable keeping the pressure of the inside reduced, any material which is small in air permeability but can keep the pressure reduced during transportation and is not damaged during the transportation suffices. Plastic sheet, such as vinyl sheet or polyethylene sheet, which has a thickness of 10-100 μm range is preferably used. Either one of the following methods suffices. One is the method in which prepregs are covered with such sheet, then heat seal is formed all round leaving an air vent, and the air vent is hermetically sealed after air is drawn out. The other is the method in which the bag is used, air inside it is drawn out from the mouth of the bag, and the mouth of the bag is hermetically sealed. However, in point of packing workability, it is preferable to use the bag.
