To monitor stock information and order receive information at each base for physical distribution periodically and take these information into a production process plan and a packing plan.

This production and packing management system consists of a production process plan preparation device 5 and a packing plan preparation device 6. The production process plan preparation device 5 allocates an arbitrary product to a production process plan prepared in advance, if an amount of stock of the product is below a reference stock amount, based on stock information inputted every day from each base for physical distribution and allocates the product to the production process plan based on express production instruction from the packing plan preparation device 6. The packing plan preparation device 6 judges whether the product which is expected to cause short of stock at an arbitrary base for physical distribution is stored in a running stock warehouse or not based on the stock information and the order receive information which are inputted from each base for physical distribution every day, prepares a packing plan by which the required number of products are delivered from the running stock warehouse and are packed, if the product is stored in the warehouse, and outputs express production instruction, if it is not stored therein.
