PURPOSE: To obtain the title paper having one side to be printed in one color and the other to be subjected to process printing, providing side A of base paper containing mechanical pulp with properties suitable for heat set-off printing and side B with printability using permeation drying type ink.

CONSTITUTION: When side A of base paper containing mechanical pulp is provided with a g/m2 calculated as absolute dry weight of a pigment-containing composition and side B with b g/m2 absolute dry weight of clear size solution or pigment size solution, the base paper is coated in amounts to satisfy formula I and formula II, the base paper is glazed to give ≥20% glossness of the side A, ≤0.28 set-off value of the side B so that the side A is provided with properties suitable for heat set-off printing and the side B is supplied with properties suitable to printing by permeating drying type ink to give the objective printing paper for off-set.
