To a base paper pattern 1 drawn in the dimensions based on a completed dress, another dimension-corrected pattern is drawn on a sheet and/or cut cut so that the extensions and the contraction occurring on the process while the dress is completed by sewing a fabric may be compensated thereby preparing the paper pattern 2. When dress is sewed by using the paper pattern 2, the finishing lines of the dress become almost identical with the contour of the base pattern 1.
