PURPOSE: To obtain a paper towel effective in replenishing oil component, etc., to the hair in wiping wet hair, etc., by pulling out a continuous paper from a roll and contacting the outer surfaces of the paper with a coating roll impregnated with a water-soluble treatment agent, thereby applying the treatment agent to the surface of the paper.
CONSTITUTION: A continuous paper 1 wound in the form of a roll is pulled out. The continuous paper 1 is pinched between coating rolls 2, 21 impregnated with a water-soluble treatment agent 3 (e.g. composed of 60.0% of dimethylsilicone, 7.5% of nonionic surfactant and 32.5% of distilled water) to apply the treatment agent to the outer surfaces of the paper. The paper towel produced by the above process is effective in replenishing the hair with oil and moisture in the wiping of wet hair and giving treatment effect to damaged hair.
