PURPOSE: To prevent the cross bending in a rolling stage and to improve the quality of a parallel joined alloy plate by disposing symmetrically the metallic plates drawn from the same blank material in the same longitudinal positions on both sides of a dissimilar metallic plate and joining these plates then rolling the joined plate.
CONSTITUTION: Metallic plates 2, 3 of the same kind to be disposed symmetrically with respect to the center in the transverse direction of a parallel joined alloy plate in the production of said plate are drawn from the same longitudinal positions of the same blank material. Since the plates 2, 3 of the same kind are the same in thickness in the same longitudinal positions, cross bending in the rolling stage is eliminated. This method is also adaptable to the case of joining parallel ≥3 kinds of dissimilar metals in addition to the case of joining parallel two kinds of dissimilar metals. The case in which the parallel joined plate has no joints at the center in the transverse direction thereof is shown and the same method is also adaptable to the case in which the plate has joints at the center in the transverse direction.
