Abstract:

PURPOSE: To continuously mass-produce a dense particulate thin film by controlling a particulate density and a particulate layer number of the particulate thin film by using the moving speed of a meniscus tip part, particulate volume fraction and liq. evaporation rate as a parameter.
CONSTITUTION: A solid or liq. substrate is brought into contact with a particulate-dispersed suspension, and the meniscus on a three phase contact line of air or gas, the substrate and the suspension is sweep-spread and moved, and a particulate thin film is formed by the aggregation of the particulates. Here, the moving speed of the meniscus tip part VC, particulate volume fraction &phiv and liq. evaporation rate je are made as the parameter, and the particulate density and the particulate layer number of the particulate thin film are controlled so as to satisfy the formula (ε is porosity, B is the hydrodynamic coefficient indicating the relative speed of water particulates, (n) is thin film thickness, (l) is evaporation crystal region depth, je (Rh.T) is the evaporation loss due to the evaporation of the liq., and it is the function of humidity Rh and temp. T generally, K is packing coefficient).
