PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a petroleum product by which the optimum control can be performed to reduce the production cost in producing the petroleum product or its base.
CONSTITUTION: The optimization control of each step is carried out based on properties of a base or a blended petroleum product while individually controlling each step in a method for producing the petroleum product comprising continuously performing a step of distilling a crude oil and providing a base fraction, a step of refining the base fraction and affording various bases, a step of storing each base in a base tank, a step of blending each base and providing the petroleum product and a step of storing the resultant product in a product tank. The production cost is reduced by performing the optimization control in addition to the individual control and the production time is reduced to about (1/5) to (1/10).
