Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stably improve heat resistance, moisture resistance and insulation properties of a laminated sheet using a paper substrate in part or all of a substrate used without including an inorganic filler lowering punching properties or drilling properties in the paper substrate.
CONSTITUTION: In a method for reacting phenols with formalin in the presence of a basic catalyst, when B is given as a weight of water capable of dissolving in a weight A of the reactional product without causing white turbidity, the finishing point of the reaction is controlled to a range of the weight B/the weight A of 2-20. A phenol resin thus obtained is used in pretreatment of paper substrates.
