PURPOSE: To provide the subject fabric capable of freely and simply forming pile parts and shearing parts on one woven fabric and readily changing colors of both the parts.

CONSTITUTION: The surface of knitted fabric made in such a way that piles 1 are projected from the back of a fabric texture 3 is partially covered with a readily removable coating agent 5 such as water-soluble resin optionally mixed with pigment and dye. Then, the piles 1 are drawn out to form the piles 1 on a part except the part coated with the readily removable coating agent 5 on the surface of the knitted fabric. Then the surface of the knitted fabric is sheared so that the piles 1 formed on the surface of knitted fabric are subjected to shearing processing to make cut piles 4. That the readily removable coating agent 5 such as water-soluble resin is eliminated by the removing means such as washing with water. Finally, the drawing out of the piles is carried out again to form the piles 1 at the part coated with the readily removable coating agent 5 such as water-soluble resin on the surface of knitted fabric.
