PURPOSE: To obtain the titled confectionery, e.g. decoration for food, etc., at a low cost without elaborate operation, by describing a pattern having space parts of a plate confectionery on a plate with a confectionery melted while heating, casting a melted confectionery of another color thereon to fill the space parts and peeling the platelike confectionery.

CONSTITUTION: A sheet body 4 is laid on a plate 2 and a pattern having space parts 10' of a platelike confectionery (chocolate) 1 is described thereon with a confectionery 10, e.g. chocolate, etc., melted wile heating. A confectionery 11, e.g. chocolate, etc., of another color melted while heating is cast on the confectionery 10 to fill the space parts 10' and provide one platelike form. After cooling and solidifying the confectioneries 10 and 11, the resultant platelike material with the sheet body 4 is lifted from the plate 2, peeled from the sheet body 4 and turned over to afford the aimed platelike confectionery 1.
