PURPOSE: To obtain a polydiorganosiloxane emulsion useful as a rubber raw material for impact-resistant resins in a high concentration, easily expandably in production scale, and with good productivity by adding an inorganic electrolyte to a mixture comprising an organosiloxane, an emulsifying agent, an acidic catalyst and water and carrying out the emulsion polymerization.
CONSTITUTION: (E) An inorganic electrolyte (e.g. sodium sulfate or sodium chloride) is added to a mixture comprising (A) an organosiloxane, (B) an emulsifying agent, (C) an acidic catalyst and water in emulsifying and polymerizing the mixture. Thereby, the objective emulsion is obtained. For example, the component (E) is added to (F) an emulsion precursor prepared by previously stirring and emulsifying a mixture comprising the components (A), (B) and (D) or (G) an aqueous solution of the component (C) in adding the component (F) into the component (G) and carrying out the polymerization.
