Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to reduce molding temperature, carry out extrusion molding at a low temperature and obtain a crosslinked PP foam, by using a propylene-ethylene random copolymer, containing a small amount of ethylene component and having a melt flow rate within a specific range.
CONSTITUTION: Propylene-ethylene random copolymer having 0.2W1wt%, preferably 0.3W0.8wt% ethylene component content and 9W50g/10min melt flow rate is used to afford the aimed crosslinked and expanded PP. A foaming agent blended has preferably 180W270°C decomposition temperature and, e.g. azodicarbonamide, etc., are cited as the foaming agent.
