PURPOSE: To obtain a polypyrrole having combined structure suitable for electronics, etc., showing improved strength, by dissolving a high polymer electrolyte in a solution of a pyrrole monomer and subjecting the solution to electrolytic polymerization so that the high polymer electrolyte exists among the polypyrrole polymer structure.

CONSTITUTION: A high polymer electrolyte such as sodium dextran sulfate is dissolved in a solution of a pyrrole monomer to give an electrolytic solution, which is subjected to electrolytic polymerization to give a polypyrrole which has the high polymer electrolyte existing among the polypyrrole polymer structure and combined structure. Preferably the concentration of the high polymer electrolyte is 5W70g/l and that of pyrrole is 0.3W1M.
