PURPOSE: To obtain the subject resin having excellent adhesiveness to polyolefin, creep resistance and solvent resistance by subject a specific urethane resin and a chlorinated polyolefin to radical copolymerization.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A urethane resin having a radically polymerizable double bond, (B) a chlorinated polyolefin containing a radically polymerizable double bond and optionally (C) a radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer (e.g. methyl acrylate) are subjected to radical polymerization to give the objective resin. The component A is preferably obtained by reacting a compound containing both a radically polymerizable double bond and two hydroxyl groups such as glycerol monomethacrylate with a long-chain polyhydroxy compound and an organic diisocyanate compound such as phenylene didiisocyanate. The reactional product between a chlorinated polypropylene modified with maleic anhydride and hydroxyethyl acrylate can be used as the component B.
