Abstract:
To obtain a polyurethane for shoe sole having excellent physical properties such as elongation and high hydrolysis resistance by reacting a specific urethane prepolymer with a polyether polyol.
This polyurethane for shoe sole is produced by reacting a polyester polyol witch is a polycondensation product of one or more kinds of 5-7C diols or triols such as 3-methyl-1,5-pentanediol and one or more kinds of 5-7C dicarboxylic acids such as adipic acid with a polyisocyanate such as 4,4'- diphenylmethane diisocyanate and reacting the produced prepolymer having isocyanato group on the terminal with a polyether polyol such as a modified polypropylene glycol having primary groups on both terminals.
