Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a porous ceramic material having controlled pore diameter and high strength and porosity satisfiable as a filter or a catalyst carrier by using a pore-forming agent.
CONSTITUTION: A porous ceramic material is produced by mixing a pore-forming agent to ceramic powder, forming the mixture, impregnating an organometallic polymer in the formed material, eliminating the pore-forming agent by calcining the formed product at a temperature not to cause the decomposition of the organometallic polymer and sintering the calcined material.
