Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control roughness of the body by adhering a body for ceramics to a sponge material to be reduced to ashes at a burning temperature and burning.
CONSTITUTION: Slip prepared by blending body for ceramics consisting essentially of talc, feldspar and kaolin with water in the ratio of 1:0.6 by weight ratio is adhered to a sponge material 1 such as synthetic resin material to be reduced to ashes at a burning temperature by applying with a spray gun. Then the material is dried and burnt for a given time to give a porous ceramic plate 2 having desired roughness of body.
