Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for producing a porous sintered metallic plate having a large degree of freedom in metal compsn. and a large specific surface area.
SOLUTION: The porous sintered metallic plate is produced by a slurry preparing stage for preparing a foamable slurry contg. metallic powder, a molding stage for molding the foamable slurry to a planar form, a drying stage for drying a planar molding and a sintering stage for sintering the dried planar molding. In such a case, the foamable slurry is compounded with a foaming agent, water-soluble resin binder and surfactant. A doctor blade method is suitable for the molding method.
