PURPOSE: To provide practical and workable precoat metals, specific enamel paint is directly applied to a metal base to be overcoated with specific clear lacquer.

CONSTITUTION: A metel base plate is applied with continuous coating of enamel paint consisting of acrylic or polyester resin with glass transition point below 15°C, acid value below 5 and OH value at 10 to 50, and a curing agent in dried thickness of 8 to 30μ. Then, the coated surface is continuously coated with clear lacquer consisting of acrylic resin with glass transition point of 20 to 60°C, acid value between 5 and 15, and OH value between 30 to 70, and curing agent in dried thickness of 3 to 10μ. The so produced precoat metal has an excellent workability, flexibility and is soil resistant and easy to be worked.
