To provide a production predicting control system and a method therefor, capable of easily drawing up a consistent operation project by making the operation project, processing project and work project, using the same algorithm and parameters as in a job-shop production predictive control system.

A process projecting section 2 draws up a processing project, based on an operation project from an operation project section 1, and a work projection section 3 draws up a work projection, based on the operation project and processing project. Accordingly, each of the processing project and work project successively uses the result sufficiently simulated in the operation project, so that a consistent project can be made. An estimated achievement control section 4 checks the operation project vs. the processing project and achievement vs. the operation project or processing project, and if there are problems, the cause of the estrangement of the project from the achievement is clarified, and a recovery plan is quickly drafted.
