PURPOSE: To obtain label paper having deep uneveness accurately registered with a pattern.

CONSTITUTION: The printing of a pattern is applied to the surface of the aluminum foil of laminated paper 1 obtained by laminating the aluminum foil to paper by the printing unit A of a gravure printing press and, subsequently, emboss-processing is applied to the surface of the aluminum foil of the laminated paper 1 in-line by an emboss-processing unit B equipped with an embossing roll 7 wherein fine protrusions are provided on the surface of a gravure cylinder. Since emboss-processing is applied in-line after printing, the registering of printing and emboss-processing can be accurately performed and deep uneveness can be formed without extremely limiting unevenness and label paper having emboss accurately registered with the pattern and rich in three-dimensional feeling can be produced.
