Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently remove carbon dioxide passed through the membrane of a pure water producing system with a reverse-osmosis device as the center.
CONSTITUTION: Hydrochloric acid is previously added to control the reverse- osmosis device to pH4-6, the carbonic acid component is allowed to be present as the carbon dioxide molecule, the water passed through the membrane is aerated with N2 to discharge carbon dioxide outside the system, and the chlorine ion originated in hydrochloric acid is removed by the reverse-osmosis device.
