Title:
PRODUCTION OF RADIAL IRON CORE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5943512
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a radial iron core integrally without dividing it into blocks and obtain an iron core with excellent accuracy without requiring machining after forming, by laminating thin steel plates radially inside a lamination mold and by forming this laminated body integrally by impregnating it with adhesives, while pushing and aligning the same.

CONSTITUTION: A lamination mold 10 for radial iron cores is comprised of an outer mold 11, lower mold 12, upper cover 13, parallel plate 14, pusher 15, and inner mold 16. After thin steel plates are laminated inside the lamination mold 10 to obtain a laminated body 7, as shown in the figure, vacuum impregnation is carried out to impregnate each lamination with such adhesives and epoxy resin. When adhesives have been impregnated into each lamination, a parallel plate 14 is placed on a laminated body 7, the parallel plate is pressed by the pushers 15 disposed at appropriate intervals on the cover 13, and epoxy resin is allowed to harden, while correcting the surfaces so that the upper and lower surfaces wil become parallel. This makes is possible to simultaneously form a radial iron core integrally in a circular shape. Furthermore, since the resin is allowed to harden by being pressed and corrected in parallel by means of the parallel plate 14 and the lower mold 12 heightwise, the parallelism of the finished radial iron core is finished with excellent accuracy. Accordingly, the space factor improves, and the amount of vibration and noise generated becomes small since uniform tightening force is obtained.
