Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject medicine useful for the imaging of anoxic tissues and radiotherapy by reacting a radioactive metal with a substituted or non- substituted diaminedioxime to form the radioactive metal complex of the diaminedioxime.
SOLUTION: This method for producing a radioactive medicine having considerably higher anoxic cell selectivity than those of conventional complexes comprises reacting a radioactive metal (e.g. technetium, rhenium) with a diaminedioxime {e.g. a diaminedioxime of the formula [(n) is 2-5; (m) is 0-2; Y is H, R; R, R' are each H, an alkyl or the like; A, B are each CR2; AA, BB re each N=N or the like; AAA is O-CR2-O-CR2 or the like.], (e.g. 4,9- diaza-3,3,10,10-tetramethyldodecane-2,11-dionedioxime)} to form the radioactive metal complex of the diaminedioxime (wherein the diaminedioxime is not substituted by any hypoxia-localized portion).
