PURPOSE: To obtain a raised web not free from the disturbance of the raised fibers on its surface and having a high grade touch by fibrillating a web comprising fibrillation type conjugate fibers, scouring the web with the liquid flow of high temperature and high pressure and subsequently raising the scoured web with a raising machine.

CONSTITUTION: A web comprising polyethylene terephthalate filaments, etc., as warps and fibrillation type conjugate fibers comprising a polyamide and polyethylene as wefts is padded with a benzylalcohol emulsion in a pickup amount of 50%, wound up, left for 10min with empty rotation for fibrillating the web, washed with 90°C hot water, subjected to a high pressure scouring treatment with hot water by the use of a high temperature and high pressure flow dyeing machine at a temperature of 130°C under a pressure of 2.8kg/cm2 for 30min, subjected to a raising treatment using a sanding raising machine, etc., and subsequently dyed with a liquid flow dyeing machine to obtain the objective web free from the disturbance of the raised fibers on its surface, having the raised fibers and finished into a high grade touch.
