Abstract:
PURPOSE:To diversify spectacle designs and to improve the accuracy of a spectacle frame and the efficiency of the production thereof. CONSTITUTION:A base material projectingly provided with a wraparound endpiece on the outer side of a rim part is formed by blanking a metallic plate body. The upper part formed broad on the front of this rim part is then pressed to form rugged patterns and through-patterns; thereafter, a lens fitting groove is cut in the inner peripheral surface part of the rim part. A joint member is then brazed to the side edge on the inner side of the rim part and the rim part is curved to comply with the lens curve. The joint part is thereafter bisected vertically and the rim part is disconnected as well in the same position at this time. The rim 17 provided with the upper and lower joint pieces 13, 15 which can be integrated by means of a crew is formed in this way. The wraparound endpiece 19 is formed by bending the wraparound endpiece part toward the rear of the rim.
