Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for production of a rolled cake, capable of facilitating shape formation.
CONSTITUTION: A rolled sponge 1 is produced according to a known method and cream is subsequently applied to the surface of the sponge 1. Suitable fruits 3 are then put on the cream layer and the resultant rolled cake (a) is covered with a thin film 4 capable of being cut by a knife, etc. The covered cake is subsequently pressed through the surface of the film 4 by the hands, etc., thus carrying out shape formation of the rolled cake (a).
