Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a production process whereby a rubber composition can be effectively prevented from undergoing surface roughening when it processed into a sheet.
CONSTITUTION: This production process is the one for producing a rubber composition comprising step 1 of kneading an ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated diene rubber and a reinforcing filler to obtain a masterbatch mixture and step 2 of processing this composition into a sheet, which process comprising adding at least either an acylate compound represented by formula I [wherein R1 is hydrogen or methyl; R2, R3, R4 and R5 are each a 1-9C alkyl; and R6 is hydrogen or methyl] and a phosphite compound represented by formula II [wherein R7, R8, R9, R10, R11 and R12 are each hydrogen or a 1-9C linear alkyl] to the mixture in step 1.
