PURPOSE: To obtain SAKE using bamboo, having sweetness, mellowness, flavor and rich nutrition readily, by treating SAKE in the presence of bamboo in low-frequency electromagnetic field.

CONSTITUTION: Liquor such as SAKE, wine, whisky, low-class distilled spirits, etc., is packed into a pipe made of bamboo such as Phyllostachys bambusoides Sieb. et. Zucc., Phyllostachys nigra Munro var. henonis Stapf, or the liquor together with split bamboo or bamboo powder is packed into a container. The bamboo pipe or the container is placed on an electrical conductor such as iron plate, copper plate, etc., electrically insulated from the earth and treated in a low-frequency magnetic field by impressing low-frequency voltage to the bamboo pipe or the container to give SAKE using bamboo.
