PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pottery with good sanitariness by adding and mixing sewerage sludge incinerated ash of the quantity of addition of a prescribed % by weight or lower, while the sewerage sludge incinerated ash is previously mixed with water, relative to the material slurry of a sanitary pottery, casting the mixed materual slurry in a casting mold to mold it and baking the molded product.
SOLUTION: When a sanitary pottery is produced, while sewerage sludge incinerated ash is previously mixed with water in the ratio of 1:1, the quantity of addition of 30% by weight or lower of the sewerage sludge incinerated ash is added and mixed relative to the material slurry of a sanitary pottery of a prescribed % by weight obtained by mixing together SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, CaO, MgO, N2O, Na2O, TiO2 or the like. Then, the mixed material slurry is poured into a casting mold to cast and mold a strip shaped test piece. Then, a molded product is dried and its dried shrinkage dimension is measured. Then, the product is backed in an electric furnace under a temperature condition of the maximum temperature of 1,200°C to obtain a baked product. Thus, a sanitary pottery substantially good in its dimensional accuracy and strength can be obtained.
