PURPOSE: To accomplish the mass production without deteriorating the performance by spraying metal to the surface of an extended aluminum foil.

CONSTITUTION: An aluminum foil 6 is pulled without any wrinkle by means of fixing members 7a and 7b and is brought into contact with a male mold 8 having its upper side bulged. After that, the leading end of a long wire of zinc, aluminum or brass is melted and sprayed to the back of the mold. After that, frames 10a and 10b are attached to the both ends to provide a screen which can be used in a projection type TV set. As a result, a reinforcing film is sprayed and is instantly solidified thereby to make the mass production possible. The performance of the screen cannot be deteriorated because the aluminum foil 6 has its surfaces formed with no irregularity.
