PURPOSE: To permit the image carried on a register seal to be produced easily and rapidly by a method wherein, when the print of the registered seal is produced, a plurality of seal letters recorded in a recording medium are displayed on both the faces of a displaying device and such seal letters are synthesized on the screen thereof.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of seal letters called printing description are recorded in a recording medium such as floppy disk according to the various patterns. A computer 1 is provided therein with a reading part for reading the seal letter in the floppy disk and, by the operation of a key board 3, a desired seal letter is shown on the display device 2. The plurality of the seal letters are synthesized on this display device 2. When the seal letter is shown on a display part 5 of the screen 2, it has such a size as to protrude from a fan-shaped border 6a, i.e., one of four equal parts into which is divided a circular frame 6 for indicating the incised face of the seal print and, when the synthesized letter is moved, the individual letter components are prevented from separating from one another or setting out of balance. The synthesized letter is produced by an automatic engraving machine.
