PRODUCTION OF SEGMENT USING HIGHLY FLOWABLE CONCRET

A

PURPOSE: To produce a segment having a dense concrete surface and enhanced in durability using highly flowable concrete under improved working environment.

CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical device 2 is attached to the upper part of a closed segment producing form A having an air permeable upper form 1 and a highly flowable concrete charging pipe 3 is attached to the cylindrical device 2 and a low frequency impact applying device is provided to the pipe 3 in a vertical direction. Highly flowable concrete B is charged in the form from the pipe 3 and an impact is applied to the reinforcing bar basket 5 in the form through the pipe 3 and, at a point of time when the concrete B in the form rises the space between the pipe 3 and the cylindrical device 2, the pipe 3 is extracted and the cylindrical device 1 is hermetically closed to introduce compressed air into the form through a compressed air conduit under pressure to pressurize the concrete B.
