PURPOSE: To decrease the amt. of the colors and ink to be used and to improve workability as well as to improve drawability and weatherability by applying an acrylate resin emulsion contg. inorg. powder on a base fabric and drying the coating to form a coating layer, then finishing the coating layer by pressing.

CONSTITUTION: The acrylate resin emulsion contg. the inorg. powder is applied on the base fabric and the coating is dried to from the coating layer, then the coating layer is finished by pressing, by which the sheet for writing down is produced. The base fabric which has a lesser change of elongation when hung down is down is preferable. Titanium oxide, calcium carbonate, silica, talc, clay, etc., are usable as the inorg. powder. An ethyl ester acrylate resin or butyl ester acrylate resin is used as the acrylate rein. The weatherability is greatly improved in this way and the penetration of the colors and ink is prevented; therefore, the finish and workability are greatly improved. The drawability and workability are further improved by finishing the surface of the coating layer by pressing to decrease the pinholes and to smooth the surface.
