Title:
PRODUCTION OF SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC EMULSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH049837
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the emulsion which has a high sensitivity and fogs less by subjecting silver halide particles to reduction sensitization in a particle forming stage thereof and adding a palladium compd. to the particles after the end of the particle forming stage and before a desalting stage, then adding an iodide ion-contg. soln. independently to the particles in the particle forming stage of the silver halide particles.

CONSTITUTION: The silver halide particles are subjected to the reduction sensitization in the silver halide particles forming stage thereof. The addition of the palladium compd. to the particles after the end of the particle forming stage and before the desalting stage means that this compd. is added to the magnetism from the end of the addition of a silver salt addition and before the desalting state in the particle formation. The iodide ion-contg. soln. is independently added in the particle forming stage of the silver halide particles. The silver halide photographic emulsion which has the high sensitivity and fogs less is stably formed in this way.
