Plural gas permeable control plates 7 horizontally arranged at a fixed interval in the width direction of the pallet 1 are inserted from a raw material sloping surface 5a of the raw material piling layer 5b toward the advancing direction of the pallet 1, and after forming plural gas venting grooves 8 into the middle and the lower layer parts of the raw material piling layer 5b, the raw material piling layer 5b is sintered. Since moisture vaporized from an upper layer of the raw material piling layer 5b is exhausted from the gas venting grooves 8 formed at the middle and the lower layer parts without condensing, the gas permeability is improved.
