Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing sintered ore by which reduction of NOx is contrived while the usage of coarse granular solid combustible material is reduced as lower as possible.

CONSTITUTION: A raw material to be sintered is obtained by mixing an auxiliary raw material containing solid combustible material with an iron oxide raw material used as a main raw material. In the case of placing this raw material to be sintered in a layer state on a moving pallet and producing sintered ore, granule size distribution is regulated so that the solid combustible material described above is regulated to ≤10%. This solid combustible material is present in the part to 10-50mm from the surface layer part of the raw material layer to be sintered and has ≤0.5 mm (or ≤1.0 mm) granule diameter. Operation is performed while contriving reduction of NOx.
