Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title material having stable action by coating small pieces of high-hardness substance with the high-hardness substance and a substance having a lower hardness than that of a material to be brought into contact with the title material and uniformly dispersing the coated substance into a rubber-like elastic material and abrading the elastic material with a processing material having the coarse surface to expose the high-hardness substance to the surface. CONSTITUTION:The surface of small pieces 1 of a high-hardness substance (e.g., silicon carbide) is coated with the high-hardness substance and a covering material (e.g., phenol resin) 2 having a lower hardness than that of the surface of a material to be brought into contact with the title material to give a coated substance 3, the coated substance 3 is uniformly kneaded and dispersed into a rubber-like elastic material 6 and molded into a desired shape to give a molded article of the rubber-like elastic material. Then the surface 7 of the molded article of the rubber-like elastic material is abraded with a processing material 8 having coarse surface 9 and the small pieces 1 of the high-hardness substance are exposed to the surface of the rubber-like elastic composition to give the aimed sliding preventing material.
