Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a slip sheet for film which causes no film waving, shows good machinability without scattering of paper dust and good adhesion to the film.
CONSTITUTION: For example, 70-95 pts.wt. of pulp for paper making such as bleached conifer kraft pulp and 5-30 pts.wt. of a polyolefin synthetic pulp are mixed, beaten to 200-500ml CSF freeness, formulated and subjected to paper-making, and when needed, the formed paper is coated with a surface strength enhancer (for example, a styrene or styrene-acrylic resin, PVA or polyacrylamide), dried and humidified so that the water content is set to 8-10wt.% and the surface strength is adjusted to 6 or more in the wax pick at this water content. This slip sheet is placed between films to draw an image of high sharpness and precision without waving at the edge parts of the films.
