PURPOSE: To obtain the titled solid fuel which does not cuase environmental pollution, by a method wherein terra abla, diatomaceous earth or plaster as a harmful gas adsorbent is mixed with industrial wastes such as paper sludge, wood flour, oil sludge and waste tire carbon, and then the mixt. is molded under pressure.

CONSTITUTION: 40W60wt% paper sludge, wood flour, oil sludge and oil waste, 10W20wt% carbon (e.g. waste tire carbon or soot), and a solidifying adsorbent (such as terra abla, diatomaceous earth or plaster) and, if necessary, other additives such as soda ash, a weighting agent, a plasticizer and a binder, are mixed together. The mixt. is molded under pressure, and dried to obtain the desired solid fuel contg. a large quantity of the org. industrial wastes. This fuel does not cause environmental pollution, because harmful gas evolved from paper sludge and oil sludge during combustion is adsorbed by terra abla, diatomaceous earth or plaster.
