PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing the subject fuel capable of eliminating trouble caused by a conventional method for production and problems in handling and storage due to no use of quick lime by providing a fuel solidified from a refuse after crushing.

CONSTITUTION: This method is to produce a fuel solidified from a municipal refuse and comprises (1) steps 2 and 7 for crushing the refuse 1, (2) a stirring step 13 for mixing the crushed refuse 1 with a fly ash 14 or 15 collected from an electric dust collector of an apparatus for treating a waste gas or a bag filter and kneading the resultant mixture, (3) a molding step 17 for molding the kneaded refuse and (4) a drying step 8 for drying the molded refuse by heating and providing the solidified refuse fuel.
