PURPOSE: To provide a special fabric production method capable of facilitating a process for temporarily fixing a layered structure by using an adhesive tape for the process and another process for releasing the temporarily fixed state.

CONSTITUTION: While being shifted, narrow tape-shaped materials are put in layers in order so as to form a layered structure composed of the narrow tape- shaped materials and the resultant layered structure is then temporarily fixed by bonding an adhesive tape almost perpendicularly to the narrow tape-shaped materials. While keeping the layered state, the mutually adjacent narrow tape- shaped materials are bonded to each other and the adhesive tape is subsequently removed. Or, while being shifted, a narrow tape-shaped material is wound in order round a winding holder so as to form a layered structure composed of the narrow tape-shape materials and the resultant layered structure is then temporarily fixed by bonding an adhesive tape almost perpendicularly to the narrow tape-shaped materials. While keeping the layered structure, the mutually adjacent narrow taped-materials are bonded to each other and the adhesive tape is subsequently removed.
