Title:
PRODUCTION OF SPHERICAL PARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3344003
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a relatively simple process for producing spherical polymer particles having a relatively narrow particle size distribution by which process particle diameter control is possible over a wide range and a color, magnetism, conductivity, or other function can be easily imparted.
CONSTITUTION: A radiation-curing substance 5 is formed into droplets, which are suspended in a fluid, e.g. the air in a reaction tank 7. The suspended droplets 5a are irradiated with the light emitted by, e.g. an ultraviolet lamp 9 to cure the droplets 5a in the suspended state. Thus, spherical particles 5b are produced.
